Duke Football in AP Rankings for First Time Since 1994

Durham, NC - Duke football is ranked. The Blue Devils are in the AP Top 25 for the first time since 1994.

Duke slots in at number 25 in this week's AP poll. The ranking comes after a 48-30 win over previously 23rd-ranked Miami, on Saturday.

Duke has won six consecutive games, and they are now 8-2 on the season.

The Blue Devils are 4-2 in ACC play this season, good for the best record in the Coastal Division.

Duke has two games remaining in their regular season -- at Wake Forest and at North Carolina. The Blue Devils control their own destiny. Wins in each of those last two games will guarantee a Coastal Division championship for Duke.  If they win the Coastal Division, they will be matched up against Atlantic Division champs -- and number 2 team in the country -- Florida State.

The ACC Championship Game is December 7th at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
