Three NASCAR drivers have a chance to clinch championships this weekend, including Sprint Cup Series star Jimmie Johnson.
Barring a catastrophic finish in Miami on Saturday, Johnson is well on the way to his sixth NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Title.
Johnson will secure his championship with a finish of 23rd or better at the Ford Championship Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Kevin Harvick, who trails Johnson by 34 points, is the only other driver with a shot to beat Johnson.
In the Nationwide Series, Austin Dillon holds an eight-point lead over Sam Hornish, Jr. Dillon can clinch the title with a finish of third-place or better.
In the Camping World Truck Series, Matt Crafton has a 46-point lead over Ty Dillon. The No. 88 ThorSport Racing Toyota holds a 23-point advantage over the No. 51 Kyle Bush Motorsports Toyota, and can clinch with a finish of 18 or better.
