Charlotte, NC -- The Charlotte Bobcats lost 101-91 Friday night, against the New York Knicks.

The Bobcats were playing without their head coach, Steve Clifford. Clifford was hospitalized Thursday night into Friday, after suffering from chest pains at dinner on Thursday night. Clifford had an operation done on Friday, in which two stents were put in. Patrick Ewing coached in his place.

The Knicks got 28 points from Carmelo Anthony, and 25 from Andrea Bargnani, as they pulled away in the second quarter, and held off the Bobcats in the second half.

Kemba Walker led the Bobcats with 25 points, despite a rough outside shooting night. The Bobcats guard battled his way to 8-22 shooting, on what could have easily been a rougher night.

The Bobcats are off until Monday night, when they face the Atlanta Hawks, at Time Warner Cable Arena. Game tips at 7 p.m.
